The Fort Delaware Society held its 2010 Annual Meeting at the Christiana Hilton Inn on Sunday, March 7th. The meeting was very well attended, and there was no snow and no Super Bowl to contend with! Officers and Directors of the Society for 2010 were confirmed by election of the members present. See Officers and Directors webpage. Guest speaker, David W. Rickman, made a presentation on Fort Delaware POW artist Max Neugas from South Carolina entitled "Max Neugas - POW/Artist at Fort Delaware." David is an Interpretive Media Specialist for the Division of Parks & Recreation and has been working on a book of sketches done by Neugas for future publication. |
