The Fort Delaware Society is committed to reaching out to surrounding communities to make the general public aware of the preservation work done by the State of Delaware on historic Fort Delaware. As part of this Outreach effort, a team of representatives placed a table on the lawn of the University of Delaware as part of the annual Newark Community Day events which were held on Sunday, September 20th this year
